Normal Form
Halloween Boys
Miles can't go on without his music library, and thus asks Mana to bring his phone and headphones from home!
After a vicious attack by Javert in the backrooms that left him mortally wounded, Miles breaks a deal with Katurian to be given a mercy killing. Official CoD: Soul consumption, exsanguination. Memory lost: none
[CW: Sacrifice-related Suicide] Chaos across the peninsula prompts many monsters, at the urging of Fernstrom Jr, to sacrifice themselves to restore balance. Miles, after having endured a decline in his mental health, decides that it's what Spider-Man would do. Official CoD: Energy draining. Memory lost: Uncle Aaron being Prowler
Miles is slightly above average height, built lean but strong. He has wide shoulders and long limbs, after having gone through a radioactive spider-induced growth spurt. His complexion is dark, with an orange undertone, and he has large, brown eyes. His face is rather small and soft around the edges, with a slight squareness to his jaw. His natural hair is styled into a fade, with a generous amount of fro left on top.
His complexion has taken on a slight texturing, as a full-body rash has overcome him. Hives pepper his skin, and the general discomfort that comes with illness has dulled his tone. He's lethargic and it shows, causing his once bright eyes to appear downcast in their sunken, sleepless sockets.
Death and subsequent resurrection have caused Miles' complexion to become sallow. Where his skin is exposed, the tone of his flesh is dull like that of a corpse. Below his jaw, the Spider-suit once marking him as a hero has fused with his body—and while it can be removed partially to expose bits of his undead body below, it cannot be removed completely. The place where the spider emblem once marked his chest, too, has crumbled away and now exposes the cavity within. Through a ghostly mist that occupies the space between his ribs, a lack of heart and other organs can be seen.
Miles has begun to hover above the ground when he moves, unless he makes the conscious effort to lower himself and walk. Miles' wrists have also faded to nothing, leaving the space between his hands and forearms empty. He can move the hands within a proximal space equal to his height in any direction.
???
Miles can cause both organic and inorganic decay. Until he learns to control it, whatever Miles touches will decay in much of the same way he did before death. Organic lifeforms will experience rashes, blisters, fever, and full-body paralytic shock before succumbing to decay. Inorganic substances will simply wither and crumble away.
Unless Miles consciously tries to walk or run, his body will default to floating a small distance above the ground when he moves.
Once per day, Miles can demanifest himself and return to the location of his phylactery. But until he realizes that wearing his phylactery is unwise, he will be unable to actually use this ability.
Miles can retreat into and animate his watch-phylactery. When in this form, he can be worn by others to remain inconspicuous—but this leaves his phylactery extremely exposed and vulnerable.
Upon death, Miles' heart was removed from his chest and manifested into a watch that he, currently, wears on his wrist (not smart!!!)
Miles has developed an obsessive personality, and occasionally finds himself dedicating excessive time and energy to whatever his current obsession is. It is so extreme that he will too often forego other important matters, so long as his mind is occupied with the impulse.
While it can't destroy him, Miles will experience extreme pain and adverse reaction when coming in contact with silver. Being harmed with a silver weapon will cause his body to immediately die and his subsequent reanimation at his phylactery will take a longer amount of time than normal.
With his new monstrous anatomy, Miles craves the live essence of humans to sustain him. Feeding in small increments, in which he causes painful (yet curable) disease in a human will allow him to stave off his hunger; but the only way to fully sate this gnawing pain is to decay and consume at least one human per month.
